What a beautiful day. Well, most of it. We started with a wonderful breakfast in the Lime Kiln Cafe in Roche Harbor, took a leisurely stroll pass the Chapel on our way to the 20 acre Sculpture Park and Nature Reserve. We decided we needed to return someday to take it all in. Back to the Knot Wafflen' to fuel up for our trip to Skyline Marina and tomorrow on to Seattle. We made it safely through Pole Pass and on into Rosario Strait. That is where the Beast met us. Forecast was for 5 - 10. Try 20 Knots with 4' confused seas 5 - 10 seconds apart. Rock and Roll. The Aspen Power Cat and Sue Ellen took it like champs and we pulled into Skyline Marina on Fidalgo Island around 3 pm.
Needless to say we will be watching the weather very closely for our departure tomorrow for Seattle.
No pics of the Beast- only the Beauty.
Till next time.....
I see none of Dad's (David's) sculpture pics made it onto the blog. Wise choice. It would be too soon for your writing to take a pornographic turn. Enjoying the play by play!
